To say that it’s been forever since I’ve written a post on this blog would be the understatement of the year. I got all swept up in the semester and simply had no time or energy to devote to personal writing. One of the drawbacks of being an English major is that, while you are constantly writing and reading, it’s rarely anything you want to write personally. Since this blog is about Buddhism and my personal experience, and since you are following it, you probably aren’t interested in reading the paper I wrote on satire and the ottava rima form in Lord Byron’s Don Juan. Believe me, I was barely interested in writing it. British literature just isn’t my cup of tea. But, I digress.
I finally have some time to devote to personal writing, so my plan is to do at least one new post each day. I’ve been practicing as much as possible, and the life lessons have been flying so hard and fast that I’ve barely had time to process it all. Over the next few weeks I hope to process it all and turn it all into post-worthy content. The only obstacle right now will be the holidays, but I’ll write as much as I can.
It’s good to be back to writing. I’ve missed it.
